2023 Annual FBI ANC CAAA Wine & Cheese /Silent Auction Event

It's that time again! 

Grab a guest and join us for the 2023 FBI ANC CAAA Annual Wine & Cheese/Silent Auction Fundraising Event on Friday, November 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.   Enjoy some wine, cheese and the annual silent auction, where we are raising funds for the NATIONAL Crisis Response Canines.   

FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Brandon Waddle will be delivering executive remarks and a “state of the field office” briefing to new and existing members of the FBI ANC CAAA.

Remarks will be followed by FBI Special Agent (SA) Velice Betsayad, who will be briefing attendees on new and emerging threats related to terrorism, including the heightened threat environment related to the Israel-Hamas conflict.  SA Betsayad is currently assigned to the FBI Anchorage Field Office working on the Counterterrorism Squad, while also serving as the field office’s WMD Coordinator and member of the Hazardous Evidence Response Team (HERT).  With a background in biology, numerous advanced certifications, and over 10 years of experience working counterterrorism matters, SA Betsayad is considered one of the FBI’s subject matter experts in the areas of international and domestic terrorism investigations, as well as training and evidence response involving CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) elements.
